Choose your plan and your free PanicTap device ships directly to you. Every subscription — whether month-to-month or a 2-year contract — includes the device at no extra cost. It arrives pre-activated. Just charge it and it's ready to use. There's nothing to pair or download.
Tell us who should get a text when you press the button, like a supervisor, coworker, or family member. For now our support team adds your contacts for you. Just email support@panictap.com. Self-service contact management in the Apartment Guardian Dashboard is coming soon. Then take our 10 minute training so you know exactly what to expect.
PanicTap attaches to your keychain, clips to a bag strap, or can be worn as a lanyard pendant. It's small enough to go unnoticed but always within reach. The 2-week battery means you can charge it on your days off and forget about it the rest of the time.
In any threatening situation, like a tense showing, an aggressive customer, or an unsafe delivery location, press and hold the button for about 2 seconds until you feel one vibration. No unlocking. No passcode. PanicTap places a live call to 911 and texts your location to your emergency contacts.
By default the 911 call is one-way. The dispatcher can hear you, but you won't hear them, so no one nearby knows a call is happening. If you can, clearly say where you are and what the emergency is. That helps them send the right help fast. Your contacts get a text with your location from the moment you pressed the button. Prefer to hear the dispatcher? We can turn on two-way audio for your device on request.
A client you've never met asks to see a vacant property alone. You're in a remote location with no colleagues nearby. PanicTap sits on your keychain. Press and hold, and you're on a live call with 911 while your broker gets a text with your location.
You're making a drop-off in an unfamiliar neighborhood after dark. The address feels off. PanicTap calls 911 without making a sound on your end, so you can get help without alerting anyone nearby. Your contacts get your location right away.
You're locking up alone after a late shift. A customer refuses to leave, or someone is loitering outside. PanicTap is clipped to your lanyard. Press and hold, and you're connected to 911 while your manager gets a text, all without escalating the situation.
